Track three takes it's inspiration from this lukeoram.com/jenny-greenteeth/ and was originally written for the rather excellent DB and their Strange and Unusual sounds Zine/compilation (and was the instigation of this EP/Demo). I wanted it to evoke the sludge and slime of the image, as well as the beauty which I found in the upper portion of the image- the slow hulking riff is meant to mirror the sense of movement in the rather terrifying Ms Greenteeth. I wanted to use some off key/strange clean vocals towards the end of the track to mirror the idea that something about the creature is strangely alluring, lulling folks (and I was specifically thinking children here) into the waterways. In truth I'm not happy with them, I think they're just a little too out of key etc and if I was going to work these tracks up into something more I'd definitely redo them- as it is I desperately just wanted to get some stuff out ahead of the first full length (which I need to finish) so I'm presenting the track in this state.
